Position Summary

The Risk Management Coordinator is responsible for performing Risk Management activities that support Risk Management and Donahue Schriber’s objectives, performance drivers and strategic initiatives. Risk Management Coordinator provides functions associated with insurance, safety, disaster recovery (with MIS), security, liability, emergency procedures,

compliance with governmental regulations (workplace and business, not SEC), vendor relationships/contracts, and outsourcing relationships.

Essential Job Functions

1.       Obtains insurance certificates as needed and reviews for accuracy including all required endorsements

2.       Researches acquired property information and calculates replacement cost values

3.       Notifies insurance brokers of acquisitions and dispositions of property and Course of Construction

4.       Updates Named Insured entity schedule and notifies insurance brokers of changes as they occur

5.       Tracks and ensures accuracy of policy endorsements for changes to Statement of Values and Named Insureds

6.       Calculates, tracks and ensures accuracy of additional and/or return premiums and provides to accounting for processing

7.       Provides environmental reports to broker for acquisitions

8.       Monitor assignment of insurance claims

9.       Develops and provides safety training through email, in person, or otherwise on a quarterly basis
